About Golden Leas
Golden Leas Holiday Park is a caravan park in Sheerness, Kent. Its 22 acres of parkland just outside the village of Minster are a wonderful location to own a holiday home. The park has a lively atmosphere with a busy social club and varied entertainment programme, 20m outdoor heated swimming pool with sunbathing area, an excellent children’s playground, launderette and shop. It is one of the most popular caravan parks in Kent.
The busy seaport town of Sheerness is less than 15 minutes away with its variety of shops and supermarkets, amusements and of course more beaches. The traditional seaside resort of Leysdown with its long sandy beach is only 15 minutes drive from the park in the other direction.
There are also some 10 acres of safe, open land at Golden Leas, for playing games and riding bikes – many hundreds of children have learned to ride on two wheels on our park!
You’ll find excellent beaches with neatly grassed areas at Minster Leas – between Golden Leas Holiday Park and Sheerness Town.
Caravan parks are time-tested holiday locations that offer a great way to explore the beautiful British countryside with a “home away from home” feel. Caravan holidays are suitable for everybody, both young and old, families and lone travellers. When it comes to caravan parks in Kent with high quality facilities and entertainment, your holidays have the potential be really special.
Compared to staying in hotels or flying abroad, there are many benefits of staying at or investing in a caravan. You can think of your caravan like a legacy purchase; it’s cheaper in the long run and will always be there in the years to come. Many caravan owners manage to get away every weekend.
In the summer months it brings us closer to nature, and in the case of Golden Leas – the best caravan park Sheerness has to offer – closer to the sea. In the winter, you would be hard pressed to find a cosier getaway than snuggling up in a caravan, watching the seasons unfold with an unspoiled view.
For families, it gives children engrossed in schoolwork and electronic entertainment an opportunity to experience a whole new environment.
